Complicated and time consuming surface installation is a thing of the past with maia’s easy fit system. The product can be readily installed using standard wood working equipment and templating is not required. maia work surfaces are supplied pre edged to make your surface installation even easier. (600mm and 650mm worktops are pre edged on two short edges and one long edge. 900mm worktops are pre edged on two long edges and one short edge).

maia is jointed using our colour matched adhesive in such a way that the actual joint becomes virtually inconspicuous, leaving you with a smooth worksurface. A seamless finish ensures an aesthetically pleasing, hygienic and functional worksurface solution. To make life even easier we have created a maia jointing kit which has everything you need to complete one joint. The kit also contains the maia ‘Installation, Care and Maintenance Manual’ which has full step by step instructions.


The unique properties which allow maia to appear seamless even around its joint lines also allow an excellent edge finish. A maia edging strip is applied to an exposed edge using colour matched adhesive, leaving a slight overhang which is then sanded back to leave a smooth and solid looking edge. Again, clear and easy instructions are included in the maia ‘Installation, Care and Maintenance Manual’ which is provided with each work surface.
